I’ve been teaching guitar regularly since 1993. I teach beginner to intermediate level, and generally focus on contemporary and rock electric guitar styles for pleasure. I normally give one to one lessons, although some younger students benefit from working in pairs.

I’m a part time teacher. My day job is in the scientific industry. The contrast between this and guitar teaching gives me the enthusiasm to devote plenty of time and energy to each of my students. I work on the basis that students progress best when they really enjoy their lessons, and are directed to practise in the most rewarding way.
